SCORING CAMP ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The NBA Basketball School Scoring Camp is focused on developing offensive tools to create advantages, find space and become a more effective scorer in different game situations.

The camp will be divided into three main areas:

1. Finishing at the Rim

Explore different finishing solutions when attacking the basket off the dribble, learning how to read the defender’s position and reaction.

Players will develop a variety of ways to finish around the rim using changes of direction, pace, angles, ball protection and different finishing techniques according to the defense.

2. Creating Space for Your Shot

Develop the tools needed to create shooting opportunities both with and without the ball.

Players will work on different ways to create separation from defenders, prepare their feet and body for the shot, and recognize the right moments to generate an open shooting opportunity.

3. Footwork in the Paint

Specific footwork development inside and around the paint, using the body and feet to create space and finish effectively.

Players will explore different moves, pivots and footwork solutions to create a shot under defensive pressure or contact and, when an immediate finish is not available, learn how to get closer to the basket and create a new advantage.

Take your scoring to the next level.
